Salute to Nurses recognizes the compassionate care given by outstanding health professionals. Recognize the nurse or nurses that have made a difference in caring for you or your loved ones, or professionals that inspire you.

                                        

How does it work?
Our readers can submit photos as well as essays thanking those who have made a difference for them.
A gallery of all recognized nurses will be available online.
Submissions can be made April 13th through Saturday, April 19th and voting will take place between Sunday, April 20 through Saturday, April 26. A special section will be in The Independent on Friday, May 9 to feature the winners during Nurse's Week which is May 6 - 12. 
The online gallery will be displayed from April 13th through Monday, May 26th.
